Fireworks bring out the “ooohhs and ahhhs” in our human friends, but that is not always the case for our dogs.  Many dogs are extremely anxious during this festive time.  It is recommended that anxious dogs remain in the comfort of their home preferably with all windows, doors and shades closed.  Turn on the TV or music, and if possible, have someone remain home with your dog for additional comfort.
